The children in Class 6 wrote their own poems to enter a national competition for Young Writers for National Poetry Day in October. The children were encouraged to write a riddle and some have been selected to have their poems published in a book! The collection of poetry will be published in January 2023. They will receive a bookmark and certificate and we will find out in due course whether any of our children have been named one of Young Writers’ favourite 5 poets who will win a trophy and £50!
