Performing Poetry

This term, year 5 have been studying an old poem called ‘The Lady of Shalott’ we have spent a few weeks unpicking some tricky and unfamiliar vocabulary as finished this week by reciting part of what we have read so far. We looked at the steps to success when performing poetry and after each group had there go we gave them so really positive feedback as well as next steps for the future.
