Language and Communication lessons begin!

Yesterday, we did our first Langauage and Communication lesson marking the start of a school focus on improving our speaking and listening skills. The question we were discussing was: To what extend should adults influence the decisions we make? In the boy in the striped pyjamas, Bruno is forced to move from the house he loves in Berlin to an old, desolate house in the middle of no where. The move is due to his father getting a new and important job, which Bruno just has to accept. This prompted our discussion linked to our own circumstances. Everyone enjoyed having the opportunity to voice their opinion and listen to others.
