Reception Home Learning – Monday 27th April

Today, in phonics you are recapping the sound ‘qu’ can you circle the sound in the word?

Maths – You are looking at more complex patterns now. Can you make a pattern using percussion or your bodY? Ask the people in your household to copy you and guess what pattern you are making.

PE – Play a game of magic beans. Ask your adult to shout a command and you need to follow it:

Broad bean – stand with legs apart

Stick bean – stand tall with arms at your sides

Baked beans – sit on the floor

Runner bean – run around

Jumping bean – jump

Frozen beans – freeze

Chilli beans – shiver

Jelly beans – wobble

Magic beans – run around without getting caught.

Communication and language – Answer the blank level questions about the picture.
