Class 9 were history detectives this week finding out how Heywood had changed over the past 130 years.

Using historical maps, we investigated the land use in Heywood in the present day, the 1950s and the 1890s. We discovered that over time, Heywood has become more urban, with more houses and shops being built on our green spaces.
