Today we began our new history topic on the Ancient Egyptians. Class 12 have already been excited to learn more about the Egyptians after starting our new class read ‘Secrets of a sun king’. Today the focus was on artefacts and what they can tell us about Egyptian life. We became egyptologists and had to excavate different artefacts hidden under sand and carefully uncover what was hidden. We discussed what we thought each item was and what it could tell us about how the Egyptians lived. Everyone enjoyed the lesson and are excited to discover more.
