This half term in DT, Class 13 have been planning a Christmas buffet. They had to consider traditional Christmas foods, allergies and other dietary needs as well as cost. They surveyed the class to find out their favourite Christmas buffet foods and planned how to make the most popular items. Our buffet included:

  • Pigs in blankets
  • Pizza
  • Gingerbread men
  • Veg and dips
  • Cupcakes
  • Mince pies
  • Fruit salad

The children worked in groups to make each food and, yesterday, we enjoyed a lovely Christmas buffet.
