Tangram Challenge
In RHE we took on a tangram challenge to work on our teamwork and cooperation skills. We used this challenge to talk about what makes group work successful.

Light and dark
In Science our first topic is Light and Shadow. In our second lesson we talked about the difference between light and dark. Then we looked at two pictures of Manchester in light and dark and wrote about what was the same and what was different to show our understanding.

Our visit from Santa
We have had an exciting last day of term as we had a special visitor in the playground on his sleigh. We were so excited to see Santa, we all got a special present from him. Merry Christmas hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and a wonderful break.

Hour of Code week
During computing lessons this week Year 2 took part in Hour of Code week. we accessed the free Hour of Code website and practised our coding skills. You can also do this at home 🙂

Computing – Debugging
Today we learnt about bugs and how they can affect our algorithms. We learnt how to check our code and correct it so that the algorithms worked again – Â this is called debugging. well done Class 6!
