Pantomime (Oh yes it was!)

To help us remember what abstraction means, we decided to get out some play doh and challenge our partners to recognise what we had made from our minimalistic models. We loved this starter and followed it up with an amazing coding lesson.
Todays assembly was the history of the young Grace Darling. A brave lighthouse keeper that endangered her life to save 9 others. We made this fun by using some drama. We re-enacted parts of the book and had great fun doing so.
A collection of our finest scientists joined the finest scientists from other schools to do our own independent experiments! In our RE, we looked at stained glass window versions of different bible stories. Including Jesus the healer, Jesus the way, Jesus the shepherd. We then decided to design our own stained glass windows using either felt tips, pencils or tissue paper.

As part of our closing science lesson to saving the environment, we decided to create our own bird feeders! It was great fun and we can’t wait to see all the birds we get.
