The sun has been shining today and the children in Reception have been working hard in their outdoor learning area. Today the children in Reception worked together to make numbers up to 15 in different ways using a variety of equipment. They persevered and managed to explain all the different combinations they had learnt using mathematical language. Then they found the correct digit and some children put them in order!
Our new reading for pleasure box has gone down a treat in Reception. The children are learning how to handle books carefully and gain a love for looking at books and reading independently.
The cold and soggy weather has not stopped children in Class 1 and 2 from enjoying some of our new outdoor resources. Children have been busy building, balancing and role-playing outside today!
As part of our healthy eating topic the children in Reception have been studying fruit and they are working hard to produce some lovely art work inspired by artist Dennis Wojtkiewicz.
