Our baby stick insects!
Children in Reception were very excited to welcome four baby stick insects into our classroom today. We will be learning about mini beasts over the next half term and can’t wait to watch our stick sects grow!

The older children in Nursery have been working really hard in their phonics sessions. We have been practising our early reading skills this week. We have been segmenting and blending the sounds in simple 3 letter words and having a go at word building. We have really impressed Mrs Bal!
We enjoy using the crates and planks outside. Yesterday we made a bus and then we sang ‘The wheels on the bus go round and round.’ We used our imaginations to create our own journeys and adventures! Jake and Joshua had a great time at Power ranger world and Sannidhi Read more…
We have got some very exciting news to report! Our beans have started to grow! We were delighted to discover little shoots 🌱emerging out of the compost this afternoon! We have been looking after them well. We will keep you posted on their progress! 😁
Children in Reception have created some beautiful artwork inspired by our Space topic. We have used a marbling technique to create a swirly colourful planet which we have stuck onto our starry backgrounds.
We are very proud of the progress we are making in Reception, reading and spelling polysyllabic words in our phonics lessons!
Yesterday in the Nursery we had a go at using the class camera. Mrs Bal told us how to turn on the camera and take a selfie! We certainly have some budding photographers!
