Class 12 begun a new writing week based around our class text. We have read how Bruno is missing his life in Berlin and writes a letter to his Grandmother. On Monday everyone wrote a first draft letter, this was a ‘cold write’ with no support or planning to show our starting point. After Miss Bishop gave some us all targets to focus on, we explored the key features of a letter in RAMP before having another go as a group creating a shared write. Discussing and sharing our ideas helped enhance and improve our writing while making sure we followed the rainbow checklist. We Have already made good progress in two days, let’s see what our writing looks like next week!
