Our book in English this half term is ‘Anglo-Saxon Boy’ by Tony Bradman. We have read the first three chapters and been introduced the main character, Magnus, and his family.

To help us get into role as Magnus (in preparation for our diary writing) we got to try on a replica Anglo Saxon helmet and chain mail, and have a go of a war horn.
