Teacher PE Kit!

Our PE Kits have arrived! Harwood Park Teachers have got a new kit so we are all wearing the same when teaching PE and we will be visible during inter school competitions and school trips. We are looking forward to wearing them soon!

Super Snowmen!

Exclamation Marks!

In year 1 this week are grammar focus has been exclamation marks. We have been reading sentences and statements carefully and deciding which ones need an exclamation mark. Miss McGregor is looking forward to seeing them being used correctly in our writing.  

Jumping and Landing

In PE this week we have been learning how to jump and land safely in different ways on the floor and low level equipment. We also put our jumps together into a sequence that we performed for each other!  

Number Bonds

This week we have been exploring and learning number bonds to 10 in maths. We have used lots of manipulative to help us such as numicon, ten frames and cubes.  

Girls dodgeball tournament

Our Year 5/6 girls dodgeball team played in a tournament at Siddal Moor on Thursday. They played against the other schools in the Heywood Sports Alliance and came brilliant joint 5th out of 9 schools. Well done girls!
