Year 2 Home Learning – Tuesday 24th June

Hello everyone, 

Here are today’s activities following your new learning pack.

Read 20 minutes of one of your school reading books or a book at home. Have a refresh of your RAMP reading skills and ask an adult to ask you some questions to test your understanding of the text. 

Maths – To recall number bonds to 20. Complete the number bonds to 20 worksheet. Ask an adult to set a timer to see how quick you can be.

Brain break time! Have some free play indoors or outdoors doing anything you choose.

English – The Secret of Black Rock Reading Comprehension – Read ‘The Secret of Black Rock’ text carefully and use your inference and questioning skills to answer the questions.

Optional activity – Play a game of indoor hide and seek!
