Here is a reminder of your home learning tasks for today:
As part of your daily exercise this morning, try this beginners workout!
Reading – Read a few pages of one reading book and use the comprehension questions linked on the class page to check children’s understanding. Please make sure you record any reads in the reading record as usual.
Fluency – Complete Summer 4 Arithmetic Test. Ask an adult to set you a timer of 10 minutes and see how many you get correct! Good luck!
Maths – In your Power Maths booklet complete the ‘Using number facts and equivalence‘ lesson. Please find the worksheets below along with the discover guidance to help you if needed.
English – Complete pages 11-12 of Reading Paper 1 (THUD).
RHE – Using the worksheet linked below pick one of the earth’s natural resources you have discovered and draw a picture / explain how it is used.

- Year 2 children now have their own account on Timestable Rockstars. Why not earn some gold coins and play with your class mates in some friendly competitions. You should have received an information sheet in your pack. Your username will be the first 3 letters of your first name and the first 3 letters of your surname. Your password will be your date of birth. For example, if your name is William Smith and your date of birth is 13th April 2013, your username and password would be – wilsmi and 130413.
- Create your own Quiz. Lots of people have been taking part in virtual quizzes with their friends via video calling. Purple Mash has an activity called 2Quiz where you can create your own quiz to share with family or friends. Why not log in to your account and create your own quiz for a quiz night at home with your family and/or save it for me to have a go at in Purple Mash? That would keep me entertained! Before you begin, read the speech bubbles on 2Quiz as they are telling you how to use it.
