As part of a fundraising initiative, our Primary Leadership Team have planned a whole school baking competition. This event aims to raise money for the ‘Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital’ charity, as well as bringing the school community together.

The bake off will take place on Friday 28th June and is open to children from Nursery to Year 6. Children can enter their cakes into one of the following 3 categories (see our pictures

for cake ideas):

  1. A cake with a novelty design (themed, character etc.)
  2. A chocolate or sweet themed cake
  3. Cupcakes

Children will be allowed one entry and will bring their cakes into school on the morning of the 28th June. Cakes will be judged by design by both the PLT team, members of staff and members of our governing body. Winners from each year group plus an overall winner from EYFS, KS1 and KS2 will receive a prize. All cakes will then be sold at our summer fayre which will take place at 3.30 on the same day. All proceeds raised will go to RMCH.

Although children will need help with their cakes, please can children be involved in the designing and making process.

We look forward to seeing your fantastic cakes!
