In English, we have been reading The Gingerbread man.
We began this text by receiving a special delivery box from the office. Inside, there were lots of clues to help us figure out the text. There was playdough that smelled like ginger and characters on sticks.
In week one, We explored vocabulary and created a story map. We have role-played the story, sequenced it and made our own storyboards.
In week two, we used our senses to describe a piece of ginger root. We designed and labelled our own gingerbread people and then created instructions so we could bake our very own Gingerbread men. Luckily, they didn’t run away !
