My Daily Diary - by Harold

On Wednesday, as part of our SCARF RHE learning, we had a visitor in Class 6. Rachel from Coram Education came with Harold the Giraffe, who is the SCARF mascot.

During the workshop, we discussed how facial expressions help us to understand how someone might be feeling. We identfied the feelings of people on some pictures using their body language and faces they pull. We gave examples of when we might feel like this and what we can do to help ourselves or others.

We watched a video where Harold the Giraffe was at a costume party. One of his best friends, Kiki the Kangaroo arrived and she had forgotten to wear a costume and felt silly. Harold and Class 6 gave her some fantastic advice on how to make her situation better and she was then able to enjoy the party.

Well done Class 6!
