Life cycle of a broad bean

In nursery we have been reading the story Jasper’s beanstalk. We have also been looking at the life cycle of a broad bean and have planted our very own broad bean seeds. Some of us planted our broad beans in a clear cup so we will be able to observe the roots as they start to grow. The children have enjoyed learning the new vocabulary to support our linked learning topic, for example, seed, bean, plant, water.
