Today nursery have been practising counting during our whole class session. We then went and did small group work exploring numbers 1-3 and looking at different ways that we can make numbers 1, 2 and 3. The children explored a variety of concrete resources including, counters, pegs and numicon shapes. The children then went off and counted out objects within the continuous provision, for example, dinosaurs and pencils.
