The nursery children had fun baking biscuits in nursery yesterday. They discussed what ingredients they would need, they followed instructions and did some fantastic maths work counting how many spoonfuls.
Nursery have been on an environmental walk this week, listening to all the different sounds we could hear as we walked around school. Nursery have been decorating their own kites this morning following reading the story ‘Windy Day’. They rolled conkers that are covered in paint all over the paper. The children observed the paint mixing and changing colour and found out that blue and yellow makes green.
Nursery are enjoying joining in with a range of autumn and Halloween activities this week, including, hunting for spiders in the sand, painting autumn trees, funky finger pumpkins and exploring the autumn objects.
The children listened to the story “Windy Day” and then created their own Autumn tree independently.
