Feed the Birds

Following on from our work in Science about the environment, we made bird feeders today. We then took them home to hang in our gardens to ensure  the birds have enough food over winter. 

Perfect Pizzas

This week, class 9 finished their DT learning journey by making the pizzas we designed. We had to think carefully about hygiene and how to use kitchen equipment correctly and safely. Once our pizzas were cooked, we got to eat them and the final verdict from everyone was DE-LI-CIOUS!

National Poetry Day

Today, we participated in the BBC Live Lesson for National Poetry Day. We worked alongside the Children’s Laureate, Joseph Coelho, to use our senses to write an acrostic poem about nature , as well as look at similes, metaphors and performance techniques.
