Remembering our soldiers
In class 4 today we remembered the soldiers that have fought for our country and learnt about what we do to remember and honour them. We made our own poppies and had a 2 minutes silence at 11am.

Reception held a 2 minute silence today to remember the soldiers who fought in the war. They also made poppies and soldiers and learnt all about why we commemorate this day.

Today we learned about Remembrance Day and why we wear a poppy. We talked about remembering soldiers who fought and are still fighting to protect us. The children made their own poppies to display in our classroom.
