Play the Fred Game ‘Fred food’. The adult will play the role of Fred. Say: Fred wants to eat some b-r-e-d. Children will then copy the sounds and say the word. They repeat the sounds and word. Repeat with: ch–ee-z, s-oo-p, j-a-m, c-ay-k, b-u-n, l–oll–ee.
