Class 3 have had a fun morning joining in with the Easter drama workshop. The children have enjoyed learning about the Easter story and getting the chance to act it out.
Class 3 have enjoyed an exciting afternoon listening and joining in with African drumming! The children have the opportunity to play music to the beat and learn about the rhythm.
Class 3 have enjoyed a fantastic world book day! We have focused on Room on the Broom. We have wrote our own potions and made up our own magic spells that turned Mrs Lees face green!

Class 3 have enjoyed taste testing the delicious fruits from Handa’s Surprise. We tried the fruits and then wrote an adjective to describe each fruit. Banana is our favourite fruit but we’re not so fond of Guava!
Class 3 have been practising applying their phonics knowledge during a guided reading session. The children enjoyed predicting what might happen in the story and reading Handa’s Surprise. The children showed great perseverence and cooperation throughout the session.

Class 3 are really enjoying their ‘reading buddy’ sessions with Class 11. Class 11 come to listen to their ‘reading buddy’ read and also help with recognising HFWs.
