This week we marked Maths Week by exploring how maths is all around us with some fun and exciting maths activities. We learnt all about money. We used our knowledge of pounds and pence to practise making different amounts to buy our cinema tickets and snacks for during the film!

As part of our Super Scientists topic Class 6 has been investigating light. We learned about Issac Newton and the discovery he made about light. We used torches and prisms to explore how we can see the different colours of light as a rainbow.
In class this week we have looked at different ways to partition 2 digit numbers. We could partition a 2-digit number at least 3 ways. We enjoyed working with the base ten.
