Today, Class 12 were set a task to piece together a letter from Bruno to his friend. Once we assembled our letter in the correct order, we discussed key features that you would find in a letter.

Class 12 have been celebrating National Poetry Day. We discussed ways we could help the environment. We had fun thinking of exciting rhyming couplets.

Class 12 have been practicing different passes in basketball. We have practiced: bounce pass, chest pass, overhead pass and wrap around pass.

Today, Class 12 visited Newhouse Academy. We took part in a science experience day and learnt how to use a microscope.

Liverpool World Museum
Yesterday, Class 12 visited Liverpool World Museum. We explored all five floors and took part in a ‘mummy workshop’ teaching us about how to mummify a body.

Rounders
Class 12 have been working on their throwing and catching skills in PE. We have started to practice bowling, backstop and using the bat. We are looking forward to playing a match together.

Class 12 took part in an exciting dance workshop. We all learnt a complicated dance very quickly!

Scarf workshop
Class 12 took part in an exciting workshop delivered by Scarf. We discussed changes our body may experience when we start puberty. We found it very useful.
