Class 2 have taken part in Children in Need by dressing up in Yellow clothes and wearing spots! The children have taken part in lots of different Pudsey activities today from colouring Pudsey in to painting spots on Pudsey’s bandana.
Our Year 3/ 4 Dodgeball team took part in a tournament on Thursday 7th November at Siddal Moor Sports College. The team played brilliantly against 7 other Heywood Schools and showed perservance and good sportsmanship throughout. Well done!

Our Year 3/ 4 Football team have taken part in a football tournament over the last two Thursdays at Heywood Sports Village. They played against other Heywood Schools and showed fantastic cooperation to work together as a team. Well done!
Today our new junior sports leaders were presented with their badges. Their first task was to stick the 300 stickers onto our #GetSetEatFresh #AldiKit4Schools poster. Well done and thank you to everyone for contributing to the 300+ stickers.

Today we held a very successful reading workshop in Nursery and Reception. A big thank you to all of our parents and carers who came along. We hope you enjoyed the reading and phonics activities that you took part in with your child.
In reception, we have been learning lots of new sounds this week. We have learnt s, a, t, p, i and n. We have been using the jolly phonics actions and songs to learn the new sound and we have been rainbow writing each letter.
