The UK, countries within the UK and the capital cities of the countries.

This term in Geography we have been looking at the UK, countries within the UK, their capital cities.

Children have been finding the countries on the maps and then matched the countries up to their capital cities.

We Looked at Blackpool, which is within the UK and looked at what Blackpool has and why people enjoy going to Blackpool.

We explored Africa and how many countries they have there, and how it is different to Blackpool.

We sorted pictures from Blackpool and Africa into the correct country, and looked at how they looked different with Blackpool having lots of attractions and Africa having wild animals and lots of deserts and rainforests. We also discussed how hot it was in Africa.
