Happy Friday Year 6! We hope you’ve had a lovely week and enjoyed your home learning this week.
Here is a reminder of your tasks for today.
English
- Read your reading book or something else of your choice for at least 20 minutes.
- English comprehension task worksheet (see home learning pack). This is a reading comprehension about an animal called the Potoo that lives in the rainforest. The facts and structure of this fact file will help you with your writing task next week so read it carefully.
Maths
- Complete the fluency worksheet (see home learning pack).
- Keep practising times table speed on TT Rockstars. We can see quite a few of you logging in now and getting faster with every practise so well done if that’s you!
Extra activity
- Why not create a quiz for your family and host a family quiz? Use your knowledge of the topics we’ve covered this year e.g. WW1, North America, Crime and Punishment etc. Let us know how you get on.
- If you have some spare time, why not use it to earn a Blue Peter badge? The Blue Peter website has more information about which badges might suit your interests and information on what you need to do to apply. Have a look here.
