Happy Hump Day Year 3!

We are half way through the week! I know all the days are beginning to merge into one but I hope you are all trying to stay positive and are enjoying spending time with your loved ones. As always, please see below for your tasks today plus some extras to keep you busy:

  1. Joe Wick’s at 9am on his YouTube channel but if you enjoyed Cosmic Yoga yesterday, why don’t you try some Zumba? Here is one with Minions – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FP0wgVhUC9w
  2. READING, READING, READING! (15 minutes)
  3.  Maths Task 8 – 5 arithmetic questions and 5 reasoning questions – Click here to find today’s arithmetic questions and Click here to find today’s reasoning questions
  4. ‘Grannie’ reading comprehension – finish this task from Monday – Click here to find today’s comprehension
  5. Look, cover, write, check spelling practise – complete one column.
  6. Continue with your Geography project – send me a picture via email to show me how you’re getting on.
  7. Finish the day with some handwriting in your handwriting book. Practise joining letters together in short words. Can you think of words which have tall, small and long letters? (20 minutes)

Other activities to keep you busy today:

  • Open your window and sing a song out of it to cheer up the people on your sheet – people might even join in!
  • Watch the animals live at Edinburgh Zoo – https://www.edinburghzoo.org.uk/webcams/
  • Make play dough from salt, flour and water. Once you have made something you like, leave it to dry and paint it afterwards.

Please comment below if you read this blog and tell me what you’ve been upto.

If you need any help, or want to share any pictures or videos with what you’ve been up to, please make sure you email your teachers below:
