Good morning Year 3,

I hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend and are ready for a new week of fun and learning. As always, please see below for your tasks today plus some extra activities to keep you busy:

  1. Joe Wick’s is still continuing with his PE workouts on his YouTube channel
  2. READING, READING, READING! (15 minutes)
  3.  Maths Task 6 – 5 arithmetic questions and 5 reasoning questions – Click here of today’s arithmetic questions  Click here for today’s reasoning questions
  4. ‘Grannie’ reading comprehension (30 minutes) only complete half as you will finish this off on Wednesday – Click here for today’s comprehension
  5. Look, cover, write, check spellings practise
  6. Begin planning your Geography project focused on mountains and volcanoes. Be as creative as you can. I have attached some links with useful information.   7. Finish the day with some handwriting in your handwriting book. Practise your small letters which stay inside the 2 grey lines (20 minutes)

Other activities to keep you busy today:

  • Get organised! Maybe your room needs tidying or you need a clear out of your toys. Now is the perfect time to do it!
  • If the weather is okay, get outside. Do some shadow drawing, leaf/bark rubbing or stone painting.
  • Take your time to paint or draw a family portrait that can be framed and hung in your house.
