Happy Friday Year 3,

Well, we’ve come to the end of our 2nd week of home learning. I hope you have enjoyed this different way of learning and are continuing to stay positive through this unusual time. Fingers crossed, things will get back to normal soon. Please find below your tasks for the day and some extras:

  1. Joe Wick’s is still continuing with his PE workouts on his YouTube channel however, if you want to try something new, click here for Jump start Jonny!
  2. READING, READING, READING! (15 minutes)
  3.  Maths Task 10 – start today’s Maths by using the Daily 10 and then complete your 5 reasoning questions – Click here for today’s reasoning task
  4. ‘The Park’ reading comprehension – Click here for today’s comprehension
  5. Complete your final arithmetic test – remember, one minute per question
  6. Complete your geography project. Don’t forget to send me what you have done via email 😀
  7. Finish the week by settling down with your family to watch a movie with some treats – it is Friday after all!

Other activities to keep you busy today:

  • Write isolation letters/cards to your neighbours to cheer them up. Draw them a picture, write them a poem or just say hello. Post them through their letterboxes and wait to see if you get any replies.
  • Have a Friday night disco – get dressed up, play party games and join your friends or family for an online party.
  • Write a to do list for what you would like to achieve next week. Plan each day so you have got something to work towards.

As next week is the Easter holidays, I won’t be setting daily home learning. However, I will be uploading an Easter project later today to keep you busy during your 2 week break – just like a pre-learning task you would normally get at school. I will also include other fun activities so you’re not bored.

Please comment below if you read this blog and tell me what you’ve been upto.

If you need any help, or want to share any pictures or videos with what you’ve been up to, please make sure you email your teachers below:
