Good morning Year 1!
Hope you enjoyed your home learning tasks yesterday! Below are the home learning activities for you to complete today.
Don’t forget to tune into Joe Wicks’ workout on YouTube at 9am to kick start your day!
Reading- Tune into a Read Write Inc lesson on YouTube- Set 1: 9:30am, Set 2: 10:00am and Set 3: 10:30am.
Maths-
Day 7 worksheet ‘Adding Ones’ in your home learning pack. Use your place value skills to complete questions adding tens and ones.
English-
Day 7 English task from your home learning pack.
Next, write a short story about you and your family. Who are your main characters in your story? Where will the setting take place? You might even want to create your own story book. Don’t forget to use Super 6 and your best handwriting!
Spellings-
Have a go a writing out some of the high frequency words from the sheet in your home learning pack. Look at the spelling, cover it, write it and check it! Remember to use your best handwriting too! Click this link to check your letter formation. Click this link to check your letter formation.
Geography/History Project:
Take some time to work on one of your projects. Remember to do this creatively!
Other activities to keep you busy:
- Complete some cosmic yoga ‘Calypso the Flamingo’.
- Release your inner artist and #DrawWithRob – Follow a drawing lessons to help master your skills.
- Make a band with kitchen pots and pans (make sure you get permission first!)
