Good morning Year 1!

Hope you’re all well and had a lovely weekend. Below are the home learning activities for you to complete today!

Don’t forget to tune into Joe Wicks’ workout on YouTube at 9am to kick start your day!

Reading-

Look through your phonics sounds and read part of a story book.

Phonics-

Log in to Phonics Play https://new.phonicsplay.co.uk/ with the details:

Username: march20
Password: home

Practise sounding out your real words and alien words on  the ‘Dragons Den’ and ‘Buried Treasure’ games.

Maths-

Day 6 worksheet in your home learning pack.

English-

Day 6 English task from your home learning pack.

Fluency-

Have a go at your number bonds to 10 or to 20 on Hit the Button. Can you beat your high score?

Science-

Complete the second half of your Science booklet.

Other activities to keep you busy:

  • Spread some joy and create a rainbow picture to put in your window. It’s fun to see if you can spot any rainbow when you go out for a walk!  🌈
  • As this will be a historical event in years to come create a time capsule by- Writing a little note ‘All about you’ and draw a picture of your family as it is now. If possible, take some pictures of the day to print off and put in and include newspaper cut outs too. Put all these bits into a scrapbook or box and store it away for you to find in the future.🎁 Click here for a printable all about me sheet.
