Year 6 designed poppies for Remembrance day and thought of a touching message to send their thoughts to everyone affected in the war. Due to their efforts, we had a visit from War Veterans who brought the child chocolates and a gift voucher to school. They also sent a fantastic cake to thank the children. The poppies are displayed by the memorial garden in Heywood Centre.
