Tolerance Assembly

Tolerance doesn’t mean that we agree or ignore each other.  It means we make space for other people’s opinions.  That’s whether we think that they are different, wrong, odd or interesting.

In assembly we learnt that you can care passionately about one view without hating other people because of theirs.

We want to be the change we want to see in the world.  We have to learn tolerance and we often get that from being with people who find it hard to get on with.  That’s a hard thing to do but a very valuable lesson.
