Yesterday we had a special assembly all about anti bullying. Next week is Anti bullying week and to get everyone thinking about what bullying is, the types of bullying and the things we can do to prevent it, we invited the Power of One group in to help us!
They performed scenes displaying different types of bullying and the affect that might have on the victim. Everyone came up with ways the victim could do something about the bullying and how to get help. They also showed us how being a bystander can be just as bad and helped up us see how we can become UPstanders instead!
The perormanced finished with us thinking about how we can have the power to prevent bullying in and out of school. We will be signeing the ‘Bully Prevention Oath’ next week during our lessons.
