Class 6 have enjoyed reading the book The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. Today we investigated different shades of some of our favourite colours. We looked at paint shade cards, used an online thesaurus and a paper thesaurus to find synonyms for the colours and we found images of things that we associate with the colours too. The new vocabulary we have learned, as well as the pictures, will be displayed on our English working wall to help us in writing week next week.
