Today, Class 9 and 10 visited the Bridgewater Hall to perform with the Halle Orchestra. Many different schools from around the borough performed too, all playing a variety of different instruments including drums, flutes, ukuleles, violins and us with our cornets.

Over recent weeks, the children have been practising 2 new pieces of music with Mr Dixon and 2 new songs with Mr Stamp and Miss Wolf. All children performed fabulously and should be very proud of themselves. It’s not every day you get to play alongside a world famous orchestra.

My favourite part was lunch time because I got to eat food and singing the songs because we got to dance. It was AMAZING!

I think the best part of going to the Bridgewater Hall, was going inside because it was cool. And it was really hot outside.
