Over the course of the last two Science lessons in Year 4, Class 9 planned and carried out an investigation to find how to build the tallest spaghetti tower. Using just raw spaghetti and marshmallows for joints, the children tried different strategies to see who could build the tallest structure.

As the investigation went on, the children were able to determine that a strong foundation was key and that they needed to be precise when cutting their spaghetti to ensure they’re tower wasn’t lob-sided!
