English – LI: To write a list.
Today you are going to write a Gruffalo food menu. Throughout the story, the mouse talks about the Gruffalo’s ‘favourite foods’. Use these to make a menu for a Gruffalo themed café.
Maths – LI: To complete the number track.
Can you look at the numbers and complete the number track filling in all the missing numbers.
Phonics – To practise reading and writing the letter ‘y’.
Can you say the name of the letter and practise forming that letter using the letter formation song? Pick a word which begins with that letter and put it into a sentence.
Understanding the World – To plant a sunflower seed and keep a diary.
Today you are going to plant a sunflower seed in the garden/ in a pot with your adult. Can you keep a diary of your sunflower as it starts to grow?
We cant wait to see your sunflowers (or any seed you can get your hands on) growing!
