It’s Friday already! We hope you have had a fantastic week so far. Aswel as the work we have set for you, try to read as many stories as you can and listen to an adult read to you too. We would love to hear what some of your favourite story books are from home!
Here is your work for today:
English – LI: To identify rhyming pairs in the story.
Today you are going to be identifying rhyming pairs in the story ‘The Gruffalo’. Can you spot the rhyming words in the story? Write down or record any rhyming pairs that you can find.
Maths – LI: To add two numbers together.
Can you add the woodland creatures together? Write your answer in the circle.
Phonics – To practise reading and writing the letter ‘x’.
Can you say the name of the letter and practise forming that letter using the letter formation song? Pick a word which begins with that letter and put it into a sentence.
IT – Purple Mash
Use your Purple Mash logins to log in to Purple Mash. I have set you a task of drawing and labelling a Gruffalo.
