Rochdale Council have set an exciting challenge for children across the borough to recreate their favourite book front covers using toys / house hold items / items in school. They’ve asked people not to draw it but to try and recreate in a more physical way.

If you want to have a look at what other children have done so far, you can see other entries on Rochdale Council’s Twitter page .

If you have an entry, ask an parent or carer at home to share it on Twitter using the hashtag #RochdaleReads. Remember you must ask an adult before posting a picture.

Which book will you choose? Have you read something whilst at home that you could recreate or have you got an old favourite you’re going to try?
