Maths:
Can you match number to quantity? For example, if you have a number 3 (using the numbers in your Home Learning pack) can you find 3 objects?
English:
Recap the Easter story together.
Can you answer questions on the story? What happened first, next, after that, finally?
Phonics:
Role-play together.
Once the children know a story very well you can role play a story together.
Tips for role playing-
Think about the questions first that you are going to ask your child e.g. why did you go into a cottage? What did you find when you went in?
Remember to ask the children questions using full sentences.
Extend the children’s sentences, for example, if the child says “it’s big”, you can repeat the sentence and extend it e.g. “it’s a big green dinosaur”.
Project/Activity:
Can you decorate a hard boiled egg as creatively as you can?

Finley really enjoyed the maths activity and enjoyed running around the house trying to find a number of different objects and different coloured objects. He has also been decorating biscuits today and he made some faces, trains and flowers on them x
