After several weeks of investigation and testing, Class 9 made their final boats this week.

Using the knowledge gained in previous tests, they designed a final product that they thought would meet the design brief: A Viking longboat that would float and be powered by wind.

After building their boats, they tested them in the water tray and used a hair dryer to provide some wind power.

They then evaluated their boats’ effectiveness by answering the following questions:

1. Did your final product meet the design brief?

2. What worked well?

3. What didn’t work well? Did you fix it? How?

4. What do you like about your final product?

5. What would you change about your final product?

6. How do you feel you worked as part of a team?
