Making Boats: Buoyancy

This week, we began the investigations we needed to complete in order to design and build our own boat.

First up, buoyancy.

After learning about the force of buoyancy, Miss French challenged us to work in pairs to build a boat out of silver foil. We then tested our boats to see if they floated and how much weight they could hold before they sank.
