Good morning Year 3,

I hope you’re having a wonderful morning and you are ready to take on the day. As always, please see below for your tasks today plus some extra activities to keep you busy!

  1. Joe Wick’s morning exercise class on YouTube to get you pumped for the day
  2. READING, READING, READING! (15 minutes)
  3.  Maths Task 5 – 5 arithmetic questions –  Click here for today’s reasoning questions
  4. ‘A Rain Song’ reading comprehension (45 minutes) – Click here for today’s comprehension
  5. Arithmetic test – give yourself 1 minute per question
  6. Finish off your history project. You will be beginning your geography project next week
  7. Finish the day with some handwriting in your handwriting book. Practise your tall letters which should touch the top pink line (20 minutes)

Other activities to keep you busy today:

  •  Make a rainbow to stick in your window to cheer others up when they go for a walk. It is also fun to see if you can spot rainbows in other people’s windows if you go out too. You could colour it in, use tissue paper or other materials to create a collage effect. Add cotton wool balls to the bottom of the rainbows to make clouds. Click here for a Rainbow Template to print
  • #DrawWithRob – search this on YouTube to find fun drawing tutorials.
  •  TT Rockstars and Purple Mash – I have set you a few 2Dos – however you can explore and see what else you can do.

Please comment below if you read this blog and tell me what you’ve been upto.

I have been doing my maths and English and built a bunny trap in the garden out of cardboard boxes and tried to catch one. (We don’t have bunnies. It was just pretend). We painted a rainbow and drew pictures.

    Hi Thomas,
Your bunny trap sounds amazing! And I’m glad to hear you’ve painted a rainbow . Make sure you stick it in your window .
    Have a good weekend,
    Miss Wolf
