On Tuesday,  the Digital Leaders joined their counterparts from other schools at Bowlee Park Primary School in Middleton for the first of two KidsMeets and what a fantastic event it was!

They got to experience a variety of  fun computing activities and entertainment, including: exploring augmented reality with representatives from O2, flying and programming drones, exploring different places and time periods using VR headsets, E safety workshops and coding with Barefoot computing!

Thank you to Miss Hornsby from Heap Bridge for organising the event, to Bowlee Primary school for hosting and, last but not least, a big thank you to the Digital Leaders for all their hard work this year!

It was so exciting to see people with the same interests as me and my favourite part was the VR headsets as you got to see a lot of cool interactive videos.
